Do you allow the use of Java (Tomcat)?
Solution While we permit Java to be used on VPS servers, there are some known issues regarding it's use. The most common issue regarding Java is it's memory usage, especially with Tomcat.

Java is a very memory intense program and has been known to use all of the available memory on Power-1 plans. If you plan to use java scripts on your site, we suggest using the Power-2 plan or higher. However if you do use a Power-1 plan and need to use Java, we suggest using modresin. It is available from within the server's WHM if you are using CPanel. If you are using a different control panel, you would need to manually install modresin if you wish to use it.

For more information on Resin, please see:

Please note: We do not officially support Java and Java-related issues. While you're welcome to use the technology, we cannot provide technical assistance regarding problems encountered as a result.
